"Kindling" is a 12-minute live-action short film, depicting a troubled mother-daughter relationship through a series of vignettes. Chronicling several significant events in their troubled relationship, "Kindling" is comprised of three individual vignettes that follow Mary's experiences with her mother, and her mother's alcoholism. As her mother's alcoholism worsens, the roles of mother and daughter are reversed, which becomes increasingly difficult for Mary.
She is simply looking to finish the film. She has the following major requirements for our film that constitute the budget:
• Post-production costs (grading & mixing)
• Festival entry costs
