| San Francisco Boy Scout Annual Gala Honors John Winther of Harvest PropertiesProceeds from 34th Annual Gala support outreach to low-income families and provide camp scholarships for "at risk" youth
By: San Francisco Bay Area Council of the Boy Scouts Mr. Winther is the founder and Managing Partner of Oakland-based Harvest Properties (https://harvestproperties.com) The Gala will be held on Saturday, November 3 at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins in San Francisco. Proceeds from the gala & auction assist the Council in making sure inner city and "at risk" youth are able to participate in a variety of outdoor experiences, including summer camp. Among the speakers for the evening will be Explorer Scout Quadrick Reeder, of Oakland, discussing his scouting experiences. Mr. Winther is an Eagle Scout and an Assistant Scout Master in his sons' scout troops, where his three boys have earned and/or are in process of earning their Eagle Scouts. He founded Harvest Properties in 2002 and the firm has transacted assets valued at more than $3 billion for the range of institutional partners and private investors and has approximately 10 million square feet of office, industrial and R&D space under management throughout the Bay Area.
