Appointment of President of the French-American Chamber of Commerce – Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 24, 2018 - PRLog -- The French-American Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles appointed a new President and new officers who will represent the Chamber for the upcoming three years.

Mr. Samuel Loy has been appointed President of the organization.
Mr. Loy co-founded the organization and served as its Executive Director from 2013 to 2017. During his tenure, he has helped foster the largest network of French and American businesses and has assisted more than four hundred French entrepreneurs relocate and invest in the Greater Los Angeles Area. His efforts have contributed to the creation of hundreds of American jobs and the recognition of French expertise abroad. Prior to that, Mr. Loy had worked in fundraising for J-Street and the Sierra Club, two lobbying organizations. In this role, he has helped raise money for candidates to the US House of Representatives and Senate. Mr. Loy brings strong leadership skills as well as deep understanding and knowledge of both the US and France. An avid student of the History of both countries, he is one of the rare individuals to perfectly navigate both cultures. We trust that Mr. Loy's expertise will greatly help expand trade relations between France and California.

Mrs. Aline Darmouni has been appointment VP and CFO of the organization
Since 2010, Mrs. Darmouni has been advising French companies and investment funds in their strategies of implantation in the United States. She also advises CEO in their decisions of management and investment.

Mrs. Claire Degerin-Ricard as been appointed Secretary of the organization
Mrs. Degerin-Ricard provides representation to corporations and foreign nationals in the area of employment-based immigration. Throughout her career, she has managed high volume, complex, and time sensitive immigration matters for large multinational enterprises as well as small to mid-sized companies.
