Colorado Cleantech Industries Association Announces the Winners of the 2018 Cleantech Awards
"We're excited to recognize both new and returning award recipients this year," said Shelly Curtiss, CCIA's executive director. "It's an exciting time to be supporting the cleantech ecosystem in Colorado, where innovation is warmly nourished and encouraged. The unique cross-industry approach that the Colorado Cleantech Awards employs helps advance new development by connecting organizations to increase the speed of collaboration. It takes everyone, and it feels like everyone was here at Rayback Collective in Boulder tonight."
Founding CCIA member Wayne Greenberg of E Source moderated the awards. According to Greenberg, "it's been my honor to be involved with CCIA over the years, and I'm proud to see the community growing and thriving. These Awards reflect the entrepreneurship and ingenuity of Colorado's business community, and the dedication to supporting a triple bottom line approach: good for people, good for the environment and good for the pocketbook."
The Awards saw record nomination numbers in 2018, creating a deep pool of candidates for finalist and winning companies. A judging panel representing CCIA board executives and key partner organizations narrowed down the field of nominees for each category based on criteria such as revenue growth, capital raised, major newsworthy announcements and staff growth between November 2017 and October 2018.
