Follow on Google News | High Pitch Erik Loses Lawsuit Against Former AttorneyHigh Pitch Erik, a frequent contributor of The Howard Stern Show, had his lawsuit against his former attorney dismissed by a New York court yesterday.
By: Imbesi Law PC Mr. Imbesi denied ever harassing Erik and cited that no evidence could exist of any harassment by him because he "would never harass Erik." It was unclear why Erik filed the lawsuit, since Mr. Imbesi has assisted Erik financially for over ten (10) years and he offered no proof to the court that Mr. Imbesi ever harassed him during the filming. Mr. Bleaman alleged damages of approximately $3,000. Mr. Imbesi noted that he routinely went to Yankees games with Mr. Bleaman, sitting in VIP seats paid for by Mr. Imbesi that cost much more than the amount Mr. Bleaman claimed as his damages. Evidence showed Mr. Imbesi also paid for Erik's utilities, bottled water service, telephone and cable service throughout the years. "Erik has posted several videos and reviews that contain false information about my firm and me that most of his fans realize are obviously false, but people unfamiliar with Mr. Bleaman's disabilities may not realize that they were not true," Mr. Imbesi said. "I am happy the court dismissed the case," Mr. Imbesi stated. "I wish no harm for Erik and despite his fake claims I will assist him throughout his life should he need my help," Mr. Imbesi added. After filing the lawsuit, Mr. Bleaman sought to delay the actual trial. During one of the delay requests, the presiding judge informed him that he "had no case." The final decision was rendered yesterday, when the judge dismissed the lawsuit. Mr. Imbesi was represented by attorney Israel Klein. Mr. Bleaman did not return requests for comment. End
