UP For GRAMMY Consideration - The GroovaLottos "Just Is..." and "Dem Big Girls"

BOSTON - Oct. 24, 2018 - PRLog -- You know your album is a classic when it's contents receive Grammy considerations two years in a row. For the second year in a row, songs from The GroovaLottos debut album, "Just Is..." and "Dem Big Girls" received Grammy nominations in two completely different categories, as votes make their way in.

Last year, The GroovaLottos debut album, "Ask Yo' Mama" received four nominations in Pop and R&B, including 'Best R&B Album'. Apparently in considering the album again, the Recording Academy identified more songs on the album worthy of consideration.

Earlier this month, The GroovaLottos received top nominations in the Native American Music Awards in the 'Best Pop Recording' category for "Ask Yo' Mama". The band is currently gearing up to return to the studio for their sophomore effort.

Also receiving nominations for his solo project is GroovaLotto percussionist and solo Hip-Hop Jazz artist, The ZYG 808, who's debut EP, "At The Party" was released in early September of this year, precluded by the release of the single and music video "The Concerto". Appearing on the ballot are the songs "The Concerto" and "Explanation".

The GroovaLottos will be performing this coming Saturday at Beatnik's, 433 Park Ave in Worcester for the Spooky Phunk Party. The show starts at 9PM.
