LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Oct. 23, 2018 - PRLog -- The 6th Annual Help, Hope, Heal Conference (https://orphancarealliance.org/help-hope-heal-conference/) is taking place on Saturday, October 27, at Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. Orphan Care Alliance has partnered with Aetna of Kentucky as the sponsor of this year's conference. This event is designed to equip individuals who care for children who have faced trauma in any form. The H3 Conference will gather local professionals, trauma care experts, and pastors from the Louisville and surrounding areas to join in a community gathering of learning and compassion.

This year's keynote speaker is Kristin Berry, an author, blogger, adoptive mother, and former foster parent. She is well-immersed in the field of adoption and childcare related to children of trauma, behavioral, or emotional challenges.

"Our hope every year is that this conference will provide anyone working with children dealing with these hardships the proper tools to give them adequate care, love, and resources to succeed. We want to help YOU help the children facing these struggles," said Darren Washausen, executive director of OCA.

The primary goal of the Help, Hope, Heal conference is connecting families, teachers, and other child-care professionals. Each breakout session speaker is a professional in their respective field and understands the challenges of serving children in need. OCA seeks to provide the best tools to assist the attendees in this industry of rewarding work. There will be multiple sessions addressing individual issues people commonly face when working with children.
