Caramels & Peanut Brittle from Sandie's Candies Sweet Success for Sun God Medicinals

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. - Oct. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- Sun God Medicinals, today announced a manufacturing and distribution agreement with Sandie's Candies & More for licensed cannabis and hemp edible products in Oregon. Sun God will begin distribution with the introduction of the Sandie's Candies & More brand in October 2018.

Sandie's Candies is a product line created by founders Sandy and Dale Thompson who have been making cannabis candies since the late 1970s. "I started making candy for a friend of mine who had cancer and then it just went from there," says Sandy Thompson.

They first sold their medical marijuana infused edibles at Breeze Botanicals in Gold Hill, Oregon when the store was the first to open in Southern Oregon in the summer of 2014.  Breeze Botanicals is a part of the Sun Breeze Inc seed-to-sale company that owns Sun God Medicinals.

Sun God Medicinals will launch four of Sandie's Candies distinct infused candy lines to both the OLCC market with cannabis infused edibles and on the open market with hemp infused edibles in the winter of 2018.  These include the Sandie's Candies old-fashioned peanut brittle, buttery caramels, and fruit forward hard candies.

Sandie's Candies are a fun way of snacking, that's tasty, sweet and full of flavor yet with an herbal infusion. Each selling unit into OLCC stores will include various potency.  Options are a 50 mg THC package; a one to one potency with both THC and CBD at 50mg; and a 100mg CBD-Rich package. On the open market the CBD-Rich options range from 100mg to 200mg packages.

The new Sun God Medicinals line will launch in Oregon with the iconic candy license. Additional marketplaces will follow to expand the line and meet the growing demand in the CBD edibles category which has seen drastic growth in the last year with several new product introductions. Opening distribution for the Sun God Medicinals line in the U.S. ensures consumers have a well-balanced alternative to the current category offerings.
