GIBRALTAR - Oct. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- In view of the "United Nation´s international day for the eradication of poverty on 17th October" SID has started on October 12th, 2018 a prolonged campaign in which it will distribute up to $ 2.5 million dollars' worth in SID Tokens to projects aimed at bringing Internet access to developing and developed countries alike, aimed to those who can´t afford a regular monthly internet connection.

The global platform for Internet sharing, SID, will give $ 25 worth in SID Tokens to each user who contributes by purchasing SID Tokens and SID will contribute another $ 25 worth in SID Tokens for future projects to extend Internet access to the needed. In this way SID is showing its commitment to the company mission, namely to help the less fortunate to avoid poverty through universal access to the Internet, and therefore access to culture, knowledge and new technologies that provide equal opportunities. This campaign is available from its website.

The projects to which the funds are aimed to be allocated in future could be proposed through the official SID Telegram groups (in English and Spanish) and Token holders would be able to vote on the projects they consider more interesting. Those that are finally elected will receive the funds assigned in SID tokens by the SID team.

With this initiative we also want to help with concrete actions in projects that are strongly aligned with our mission".

In order to strengthen the reach, SID has been leading the formation of a Consortium of Partner Companies or Group of Partner Companies (GPC) to mitigate the effect of the current bearish crypto market conditions and have long term positive effects on its members by: helping to promote each others´ products, tokens and business, complete the product offerings by combining products from the Group of Partner Companies (GPC) with the aim to in future to present it as one GPC entity to multinationals, governments and medium to big size private or public companies to create additional revenue for the GPC. Companies like SENTINEL (crypto ticker: $Sent) and URAllowance have already formally joined Partnership with SID and at least 2 more are about to be announced soon. Also we are pleased to have a VC backing SID, as recently press released by LDJ Cayman Fund.
