JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Oct. 18, 2018 - PRLog -- The Sales Education Foundation (SEF) hosted their 10th Faculty Certification for the Career Development Program recently and their first to be offered online. This academic workshop provides sales educators with tools to use SEF's program featuring the Chally assessment. The goal of the program is to help Professional Sales students focus on their strengths and find their best fit in a sales role.

As the benefit of a university sales education receives more recognition from the business community at large, many sales programs report 100% job placement for their graduates; almost double that of the overall graduating population.

Attending certification as the Class of 2018 were: Anita Dale from Purdue University; Chris Ricard from Douglas College; Eric Kennerk from Kent State University; John Chapman from University of North Carolina Greensboro; Matthew Larson from Douglas College; Shannon Cummins from University of Nebraska Omaha; and Terri Barr from Miami University. These sales educators join over 150 individuals who have received program certification since SEF began the opportunity in 2009. Plans are to hold another certification in the spring of 2019.

Through a partnership with GrowthPlay, https://growthplay.com/, SEF is able to provide university sales students with access to individual Chally assessment results. Students use the information provided to develop a career plan and prepare for interviews.

The growth of university professional sales programs continues at an accelerated pace. In the SEF's 2018 Annual magazine, featuring the "Top Universities for Professional Selling" listing, 134 universities worldwide were featured with published data collected from each sales program. These programs are recognized for their preparation of top candidates and attention to relevant sales research. Those schools, along with others building a sales program, are invited to participate in the Career Development Program.
