PODS Tucson to Give Thanks to Airmen with 8th annual huge Holiday Gift Donation Drive

TUCSON, Ariz. - Oct. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- To show their appreciation for deployed airmen overseas, PODS® Tucson, along with KQTH and the Military Affairs Committee of the Tucson Metro Chamber, is asking local residents to donate a gift for the 8^th year of Operation Zulu. A PODS container will serve as a collection point during the duration of the drive.

The Military Affairs Committee of the Tucson Metro Chamber program assists the Tucson business community in raising funds and collecting holiday gifts to send to local deployed Airmen. The gifts will be wrapped and shipped to a deployed Operation Zulu "Santa" who will deliver the gifts to men and women for them to enjoy a little piece of home during the holidays.

"PODS is honored to help Operation Zulu give back to our airmen this holiday season," said Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Tucson. "It's important that the Tucson community shows their support for our airmen overseas and I think this is a wonderful way to show that appreciation for those who are serving our country."

The public is encouraged to drop off donated gifts such as puzzles, footballs, etc. into the safe and secure PODS containers to the following dates and location:
