Wells International Foundation Announces Legacy Panelists for 2019 International Women's Day Event
Personal, financial, and philanthropic legacy will be the discussion points for the panel that will convene on the morning of Day 2 of the conference. Panelists will initiate a conversation among themselves and with conference attendees on why it is important for women leaders to be conscious of their legacy; how the personal, financial, and philanthropic elements of legacy intertwine; and how leaders can build their legacy for their benefit and the benefit of those they serve.
Carla Sorey-Reed is Principal of Reed & Associates, a global business communications consultancy located in Oakland, California, USA and Founder and CEO of Women Uninterrupted, a platform created to showcase female speakers. She will talk about how a woman's personal narratives directly influence her personal legacy.
Tanya Pein is Head of Financial Advice for Castlefield Advisory Partners Ltd in Manchester, U.K. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, she consults and reports on responsible investment and personal finance. She will discuss the positive effects of unifying personal values with personal investment strategy on financial legacy.
Dr. Erma Manoncourt is the founding President of M&D Consulting Inc in Paris, France. She is a retired UN official who currently works as a senior management and development consultant and an Adjunct Professor in the International Public Management Department at the Paris School of International Affairs (Sciences Po). Dr. Manoncourt will discuss how even a small amount of time spent on charitable activity can have a tremendous impact on a woman's philanthropic legacy.
The Successful Woman will provide an opportunity for high-achieving women from around the world (C-level executives, upper-middle managers, 7-figure business owners, licensed professionals…)
WIF will create a safe and welcoming environment in which these women can explore the challenges and questions they have about their lives that they constantly put off because of lack of time, lack of energy, and/or fear of exposure to people who don't "get it" or who might use their revelations against them. In addition to the Legacy panel discussion, programming will include a keynote presentation by Executive Image Consultant Sylvie di Giusto, mastermind sessions, and dedicated time for social interaction.
The two-day conference will be held at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, a key strategic partner for the event.
