Fresno Orthodontist Launches Community-Wide Free Braces Scholarship

FRESNO, Calif. - Oct. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- Dr. Brian Thurman, Fresno orthodontist and owner of Thurman Orthodontics, recently announced a new community-wide 'Smile On Braces Scholarship' Program where they are encouraging the community to nominate a deserving individual to receive free orthodontic treatment at the practice.

October is National Orthodontic Health Month and National Bullying Prevention Month. Considering these two very important causes, Dr. Thurman wants to spread smiles throughout the community by sponsoring an individual with free treatment.

Thurman Orthodontics recently awarded their Car Magnet Contest winner with free braces. The winner, Eddie, explained how his crooked smile affected his life as a teen. "You know kids and bullies and stuff would take shots at my teeth. I would laugh it off but that was one of my biggest insecurities and to have this gift, this is such a huge blessing," he says.

Eddie's not alone in this experience. Thurman Orthodontics wants to give more people the life-changing gift of a confident smile.

The community is encouraged to nominate friends, colleagues, or family members who would benefit from receiving orthodontic treatment and who demonstrate a commitment to making the world a better place.
