New Yorkers Come Together To Make Final Dreams Come True

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Oct. 15, 2018 - PRLog -- On Monday, November 12, New Yorkers will gather to sample delicious food and wine and enjoy a special live performance by Broadway sensation Teal Wicks to raise funds for Dream Foundation. Based in Santa Barbara, CA, Dream Foundation is the only organization that fulfills final Dreams for terminally-ill adults across the nation. Over the past two decades, Dream Foundation has served over 30,000 Dreams that have touched the lives of thousands of dreamers and their families, providing inspiration, comfort, and closure at the end of life. This November, with the help and heart of its New York-based community, Dream Foundation will raise awareness about its mission and raise the funds needed to continue to fulfill those Dreams.

Urbani Truffles (https://www.urbani.com/), the leading global purveyor of fresh truffles and truffle products, will host the event at its prestigious New York test kitchen and tasting venue, Urbani Truffle Lab. The event will feature renowned "ninja chef" Elizabeth Falkner, a champion of charity events and food and wine festivals worldwide. Chef Falkner has competed in multiple televised competitions, including Food Network's "Next Iron Chef", "Super Chefs"; "Food Network Challenge", and Bravo's "Top Chef Masters." She has also been a judge on Bravo's "Top Chef."

Dream Foundation is honored to announce a special live performance by Broadway sensation, Teal Wicks – a longtime supporter of Dream Foundation. She is most well-known for her performance as Elphaba in the Broadway, San Francisco, and Los Angeles productions of the Tony Award winning musical, Wicked. She also starred in the musical Finding Neverland and in the Broadway revival of Jekyll & Hyde. Wicks is currently starring as Cher in the new musical The Cher Show opening on Broadway in November.
