Indian Land Volleyball Team Takes Runner Up in Boiling Springs Volleyball Tournament

Indian Land volleyball player Allison Seidel earns "All Tournament Player" in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.

FORT MILL, S.C. - Oct. 15, 2018 - PRLog -- The Indian Land junior varsity volleyball team traveled to Boiling Springs, South Carolina Saturday October 13th, 2018 to compete in the Boiling Springs Invitational Volleyball Tournament, held at Boiling Springs High School. Indian Land competed with other high school teams from across the South Carolina area. Indian Land won 8 sets in pool play on Saturday to enter into the Gold bracket to play number 1 seeded Chesnee High School. Indian Land won 25-12 in a the one set bracket match led by sophomore setter Allison Seidel. Seidel finished the the all day tournament with 39 aces, 52 assists and 21 kills and was chosen as the "Volleyball All Tournament Player", by Boiling Springs varsity volleyball coach, Allyson Elliott. Indian Land ended the day taking home the Runner Up trophy by losing the final championship game in a close match against Clover High School in two straight sets.

Indian Land High School is a 3A South Carolina high school located in the panhandle of South Carolina in Lancaster County. The Indian Land High School varsity volleyball team is currently ranked 49th in the state of South Carolina, and ranked 6th overall in the 3A Class.
