Boats Incorporated Announces Closing of its Sale

Boats Incorporated is an award-winning boat dealership and marina located on 2.3 acres in Niantic, CT.  The company sells Grady-White, Parker, and Sportsman branded boats as well as Yamaha outboards. The facility also includes a 175 slip marina which gives boaters access to some of the best fishing grounds in the Northeast.

After 32 years of ownership, Brian Olson, Don MacKenzie and Peter Rothman hired VR to find a buyer who would continue the company's tradition of providing superior sales and customer service.  VR introduced them to the buyer, Scott Leahy, who after a twenty-year career on Wall Street was looking for an opportunity to combine his business knowledge with his passion for boating and fishing as well as his affection for the Eastern Connecticut coast line.  Leahy commented, "After meeting with Brian, Don and Peter, I was immediately convinced this was the opportunity I was looking for.
