While green issues and the use of fossil fuels for vehicles have pricked some of our consciences, they have also highlighted the confusion about the details and practicalities of owning and driving electric vehicles. A lot of the confusion surrounds the practicalities – range, charging infrastructure, costs and the tax implications.
Well - this event on the Future of Personal Transportation at The Grove Hotel will help with our understanding of the issues from experts in their field.
The event provides a great opportunity for participants to hear from major manufacturers about their vision of the future as well as the infrastructure and tax implications. The event will also provide an opportunity for participants to have a close look at cars from the manufacturers and a workshop addressing infrastructure issues with dummy charging station and a prototype taxi.

Jaguar will be bringing their first all-electric car - the exciting SUV model I-PACE. This was recently awarded Best Car by T3 Magazine.
Nissan – Innovation that Excites, are one of the pioneers of electric cars and the Nissan Leaf is one of the bestselling electric cars in the UK. The Nissan Leaf was named the best electric car in the annual Dieselcar & Ecocars awards in London this year.
Electric Blue provides integrated charger and electric vehicle services powered by renewable energy. They are passionate about improving air quality and reducing noise pollution in our communities.
They will also be bringing a prototype electric taxi for demo.
