The book follows in detail the journey Dr. Shnider's temple took to transform their congregation to one focused on values and the sacredness of relationships. It is a detailed guide for congregations of all faiths interested in retaining members by enhancing engagement and connections to each other and to the organization. Dr. Shnider describes the projects undertaken to enrich relationship opportunities among members. She includes a readiness checklist, samples of marketing materials, and letters to members. The author explains how this unique process transitions congregations from a financial structure based on annual standard commitment (dues) to one based on a voluntary pledge system.
