By: IABC East Texas Chapter "It is our way of saying, 'we care,'" says Chapter President, Tracy Torma. "We recognize that many nonprofit social service organizations have limited finances and personnel to handle social media, website updates, media relations, event planning, donor communications and print materials development. We want to share our expertise with nonprofits to help them succeed." The IABC members will host representatives from the American Cancer Society and Black Beauty Ranch who will be offered the opportunity to share their public relations, marketing and internal communications challenges with members and guests of IABC. The IABC professionals will then offer strategies and ideas to resolve their challenges. IABC members offer a wealth of expertise in communications for investors, employees, customers/clients and media. A number of local members have four and five decades of experience in communications … and many awards that underscore their capabilities. Members and non-members are welcome to attend.
