One phone call changed my life! My custom Tree Tags were selected by the Ground Zero committee for the 9/11/12 dedication ceremony!

Ron Vega, Director of Design and Construction for 9/11 Ground Zero New York, knew that they wanted to commemorate Trees that had been donated to the site. There are family members, civil organizations & companies that pooled their money together to buy Trees….it was their way of paying tribute to those who tragically lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Now, 17 years later, the site has over 400 Tree Tags from A Family Tree. The Design team wanted to make sure that only the names of those who lost their lives be remembered at the sacred site. A Family Tree Tag will identify donors for each Tree they sponsored.  The hand engraved brass tags are not only beautiful but will bear a unique letter and alpha code assigned to each donor.  These codes enable the donors to identify their Tree.

A Family Tree created the product that helps identify Trees with a custom engraved tree plaque over 20 years ago. Through trial and error, a tag that is safe and gentle to the Tree was developed and the spring that holds the tag in place are wound to the perfect tension, designed so the spring will open as the Tree grows.

We even made the O LIST…..Oprah identified it as…. "One of Her Favorite Things"!

A Family Tree has placed Tree Tagsall over the world!  Each custom engraved Tree tag documents a special story/memory from A Baby's First Birthday, to Weddings, Grandbabies, Birthdays, Graduations to Memorial trees, all the more reasons to plant a Tree!
