Schaub+Srote Bids Farewell to One of Its Founding Partners

ST. LOUIS - Oct. 5, 2018 - PRLog -- Schaub+Srote Architects, a full service Architectural, Structural Engineering and Interior Design firm, has announced today that after more than six years of serving as Principal Partner, co-founder David Schaub has resigned from the firm effective October 1, 2018.

Schaub's decision to step down to a home office based atmosphere allowing him to work at a flexible pace and spend more time with his family has been a topic of discussion between the principal partners for some time. The sale of Schaub's interest in the firm was not an easy decision, rather a complex series of discussions and thoughtful reflection among friends, family, and colleagues.

"I am stepping away and scaling down and wanting to focus my attention on select projects," stated David Schaub. "I was becoming burned out on the administrative side of the business."

A staff meeting was held in September for the internal announcement of David's planned departure to the team, which have spent the past six years serving clients and building the firm's success. His plan to resign was accepted and respected by the team and they wished David the best on his new journey. Although Schaub will no longer be involved in day-to-day operations of the firm, he will still collaborate on current and future projects as needed.

The team was also informed that co-founder Robert Srote will now serve as the firm's sole managing principal while the possibility of new partnership negotiations for the firm are on the horizon.

"We are convinced that our team and clients will join us in focusing on the path ahead as we discover the opportunities for improvement that a change of this extent affords. I am extremely confident in this team, and excited to build upon the successes we have already achieved together," says Schaub+Srote principal and architect, Robert Srote.
