Carla Ja Turns Passion Into Big Business

Respectfully referred to as Ms. Carla; Carla Ja aspires to one day have her name amongst the list of America's Richest Self-Made Women.

With and extensive background as an executive in the medical profession, she has managed to make a seamless transition into the sports & entertainment industry with overwhelming success to boot!

When asked how she's managed to succeed in an industry that is somewhat foreign territory, Ms. Carla attributes "transferrable skills" to her success.  "I just took the same level of professionalism, attention to detail and communication that I've maintained in the Medical Field, and applied it to Sports & Entertainment.  I managed a 24/7 department, staff, escalated issues, negotiated contracts, and managed departmental budget.  All of these skills also apply in Sports & Entertainment."

Ms. Ja is currently managing personal and business affairs for some of the most notable athletes and entertainers in the industry.  She opts to keep that roster mum, as she is very selective about whom she works with, and being that her agency is transitioning to a more corporate direction, she will be even moreso selective with whom she offers this added value service.

Although, It was an apparel company that sparked her entrepreneurial spirit, she hastily veered away from that topic to excitedly discuss recent productions that her self-named company, Carla Ja Sports & Entertainment have recently executed.  'CJSE Industry Night', and 'Punchline Comedy' are near and dear projects that Ms. Carla and her young, ambitious staffers have produced during this past year.

Ms. Ja states that "both platforms provide an opportunity for independent artists to take the stage and open for a notable entertainer who is featured as our show headline and closer.  The independent artists are from all genres of music, or comedic backgrounds and do not pay to be a part of our platform."  She went on to say, "I like to be involved in events that have a 'give back' component, which is why I had the idea of framing this opportunity for indie artists.  I figured that I stepped out on faith to start CJSE, so it is my duty to help others as I continue to grow, and cultivate relationships in this industry.  If I do so, my blessings will continue to flow."  Well, Live Nation also saw her vision, and CJSE has since partnered with The House of Blues for all future productions. Blessing do indeed Continue to flow for Ms. Ja!

In addition to the success that she has amassed from the production of her entertainment based shows, she also produces some over-the-top destination driven corporate incentive trips for some of the top tech companies in the business.

Ms. Ja is a self-described workhorse, and says that exhibiting a respectable image, integrity, and solid work ethic is important because she wants to be a good example for her children.  One thing that she takes most serious of all is motherhood.  Want to see Carla Ja decompress? Once married to her high school sweetheart, Ms. Ja is a happy divorcee, and mother of three Daughters, and two Son's.  She boasts that her children are all honors students and active in pretty much every club and sport that you can imagine.  It was quite refreshing to see her visibly light up as she spoke about her children.

When asked what the future holds for her, she stated that she is restructuring her company, so that she and her staff can just focus on select clients, corporate incentive trips, and with the right partnerships in place, ultimately grow both CJSE Industry Nights and Punchline Comedy into much larger, worldwide productions giving a platform for the many independent artists out there; further paying it forward.

Ms. Ja briefly circled back around about the apparel company that started it all, and said she is "in the process of handing over the ranks to her children, so be on the lookout for Richard Kranium, LLC.  If you thought I was ambitious, wait until you see my children!"
