SYNOPSIS

"They say you should always celebrate your birthday." Dad is late for his surprise birthday party hosted by his daughter. He will soon realize the consequences of his actions when an escaped prisoner breaks into his home and celebrates his birthday for him...

Director 6 has completed the production of the Horror Anthology Clubhouse of Terror with a team of independent filmmakers and artists in Toronto.

A disturbing tale of a fathers last birthday...Episode 2: Black Birthday is about the struggles and tribulations of an immigrant living in the west trying to provide for his family but losing out on those things that matter most...family...

Sarvan Singh has always enjoyed film-making. In fact, by the time he was 4 years old, he had already been acting in student films . Soon afterwards Sarvan Singh began writing, filming and directing his own films. After graduating in 2008 from the Toronto Film School;

Q: What software did you use?

A: Adobe Premiere Pro

Q: What Camera did you use?

A: We used the Red Epic Camera and filmed at 5K Resolution. We filmed with Nikon Prime Lenses from 17mm up to 100mm

Q: How long did it take to make the film
A: About a month editing and one filming day- Q: Why do a film about a dark birthday?

A: I wanted to explore birth and death through the experience of a surprise birthday party. I also like the narrative idea of someone waiting for you when you get home...

Q: Why share the making of the film with audiences on social media?

A: I enjoy motivating other filmmakers to create films of their own. The content I share on social media is to encourage all filmmakers around the world.
