South Shore Chamber of Commerce to host Oct. 18th HOGtoberfest
This event is EAT South Shore's First Annual Chefs Competition
The pig roast competition marks the first Annual Chefs Competition among members of EAT South Shore – a dedicated group of local restaurant owners and chefs with a mission to showcase the South Shore's culinary scene.
Slated from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on October 18th, HOGtoberfest will see five local chefs competing for the title of "Top Pit Master." The competitors will roast whole pigs in their own style in a quest for the Blue Ribbon. Local restaurants will provide side dishes, both sweet and savory, with all incorporating apples, making HOGtoberfest a true autumnal feast.
Local craft breweries and hard cider distillers will provide samples with live music, entertainment by regional favorite Jason Cardinal and a cash bar rounding out the highly anticipated event.
Tickets are $50 per person and are on sale now at www.southshorechamber.org/
Reserve tickets now for what promises to be one of the best – and best tasting – evenings of the season. The night of dining and entertainment is open to the public aged 21 years and older.
