New construction projects turning to pre-engineered steel buildings as a more viable option

Of course, you'll need a roof on your structure, so be prepared to spend another $10,000-$13,000, for a grand total of roughly $79,000 for a 2,400 sq. foot building! As you can see from the rough estimates above, a prefabricated steel building is far more cost effective than a traditional brick or mortar building.
