As the Smoke House turns 72, it aids CA Wildfire Relief

BURBANK, Calif. - Oct. 1, 2018 - PRLog -- On October 9^th, the Smoke House Restaurant will celebrate its 72nd anniversary by offering 20 percent discounts on all dinners from the regular menu from 4-10 p.m., with 10 percent of all sales that day being donated to the Wildfire Relief Fund via the California Community Foundation in Los Angeles.

"On our anniversary, we are contributing a portion of our sales to a Fund that supports relief and recovery efforts that are vital due to our State's devastating wildfires," said Marti Spencer, owner of the Smoke House.  "Since 2003, this Fund has raised $5 million to help with basic needs assistance following these disasters, and we're proud to support their continuing efforts.  At this time, we also want to extend a special thanks to all our loyal customers who've supported us throughout the years."

Festivities in the Lounge (6:30-7 p.m.) will feature complimentary champagne toast & birthday cake for all attendees, followed by a raffle hosted by Director/Producer/Actor Anson Williams who'll share memories of happy days at the Smoke House, assisted by Burbank's 2018 Firefighter of the Year, Captain Pete Garcia.  Rick Whitfield will entertain in the Lounge from 5:00-6:30 p.m., and again from 7 p.m. 'til closing.

Other restaurant highlights from October 9 thru October 31 include the optional $19.46 menu featuring Smoke House classics like Veal Parmesan, Steak Sinatra and Pork Chop, and $19.46  bottles of chardonnay and red blend wines  (with the purchase of lunch or dinner entrees).
