America Green Solar's New Partner Strawesome

NEW YORK - Sept. 28, 2018 - PRLog -- America Green Solar has met their match! This past month AGS partnered with Strawesome to help bring awareness to the critical issue of wastefulness caused by plastic straws. Strawesome was created from a creative perspective. The company creates and sells glass straws; they go from being plain and simple transparent and solid color straws, to them being personalized or having little animal figures on them. They state that their mission is to "provide the world's most artistic, eco-friendly, and health-conscious drinking straw", they want to make drinking as safe for us as it is for the environment and animals. They even took it one step further and even offer accessories for the products, like straw cleaners and a tiny bag to carry your ecofriendly products around.

What if large companies such as Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts substituted their plastic straws for something else? That was once just a thought, but Starbucks took a huge step in the right direction this year and has decided to start removing straws. Strawesome decided to focus on individuals as opposed to companies. Everyone purchases straws and uses them, if we could slowly begin to substitute the consumption of plastic straws in our homes, the issues the environment and animals are facing would decrease significantly.

The overall aim of the #NoStrawContest was to raise more awareness about the dangerous effects plastic straws have on the environment and how each individual is responsible for their everyday actions.
