2018 West Coast Inside Baseball Coaches Clinic Features Expert Hitting and Offensive Insights
In order to be a great hitter, you must have an understanding of what you are trying to accomplish at the plate. Patience is key to becoming a good hitting team. Coaches must let players execute the game to their skill set to give the team their best chance at winning the game. Hitting doesn't being when you step in the box but rather by watching how the pitcher warms up and attacks other hitters. There will be 9 presentations that deal with hitting:
Scott Laverty: "Bunting: Don't Be Fine Be Soft"
Chad Baum: "The Drag Bunt – A Lost Art"
Chad Baum: "Tee Drills: What They Tell You About Your Swing"
Perry Husband: "Training Timing on Hitters – The 'Mechanics' of Timing"
