Uniting Our Community at the Clearwater Community Volunteers Monthly Networking Luncheon
By: Church of Scientology FSO
The Clearwater Community Volunteers began more than 26 years ago, as the Women's Auxiliary for the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization. The group has expanded to hundreds of volunteers, with events that reach nearly 20,000 annually.
"It's our committed, dedicated volunteers that make the difference for CCV's success. Without them we could not put on our amazing events!" said Pam Anderson.
The luncheon was complimentary for nonprofits and volunteers, and was set up as a monthly event at the Center, to provide nonprofits with networking opportunities and additional tools they need to improve their respective communities.
Ms. Anderson said, "All of CCV's volunteers love to help children. We're inspired by what L. Ron Hubbard wrote "when children become unimportant to a society, that society forfeits it's future." In fact, everything we do is aimed at making a safe, sane environment for our children's, and society's, future."
The CCV Center is open to non-profit groups for meetings, seminars and events. For information about upcoming events, including the October 13th Mega-Workshop on the Basics of Social Marketing, please call Michael Soltero, Manager of the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center at at (727) 316-5309 (callto:(727) or email CCVcenter@CCVFL.org.
