COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sept. 26, 2018 - PRLog -- The Toasted Oat Bakehouse is thrilled to announce their soft, gluten-free Blueberry Cobbler, Macadamia Chunk, Cherry Streusel, and Apricot Shortbread granolas will be on shelves across the U. S. in Whole Foods and Sprouts store locations starting October 2018. This move comes just after the Toasted Oat also launched nationally at The Fresh Market, and will be on shelves at Earth Fare in September.

National distribution is a massive jump for the startup founded in 2013, after Erika Boll, Founder and CEO, walked into a Whole Foods in Columbus, Ohio with a ziplock bag full of homemade, soft, gluten-free granola using her grandmother's recipe. She had begun baking more intensely after encountering health di culties due to her Celiac's disease and still craving tasty treats that were gluten-free. Her drop in at Whole Foods was a success, and Erika quickly decided to launch her own business selling her grandmother's original recipe granola which now includes four unique flavors.

"I grew up baking in my grandmother's kitchen. It was home for me. She was always sharing dishes she created with family, friends, and neighbors," says Erika. "I love baking as well so to be able to build a business doing something I love, using my grandmother's recipe and simple, all-natural, gluten-free ingredients is a dream come true to me. "

The Toasted Oat sells granola in numerous regional stores, Amazon and their website, https://thetoastedoat.com/. The soft, chewy, gluten-free granola, is created with all natural ingredients, and free of artificial additives. Even as they continue to grow, the granola is still made the same way by individually measuring each ingredient in small batches and baking by the tray.

The Toasted Oat's commitment to real ingredients and delicious taste has made them a popular brand with retailers and why they will be shelved in approximately 800 Whole Foods and Sprouts locations across the country in the coming weeks.
