DUBLIN 8, Ireland - Sept. 24, 2018 - PRLog -- 'Blockchain the Supply Chain' the program set up by the European Supply Chain Institute welcomes NdT (http://www.communityndt.org/) and its co-founder and Business Analyst Enrico Camerinelli as a contributor to its Thought Leadership Board.

The mission of 'Blockchain the Supply Chain' is to identify the actual Blockchain applications that make sense for the extended supply chain with transparency a key focus.

Blockchain promises to deliver more transparency and proof of ownership throughout the supply chain when it integrates with the current systems in place.

However much of the Blockchain information available today is very generic and does not recognise the fact that different industries will approach and engage with the technology in different ways.

This is especially true of the supply chain where data governance and compliance issues are particularly important as organisations operate in diverse locations globally.

'Blockchain the Supply Chain' will address the information requirements of the supply chain both on the technology and its applications and how it can be deployed to enhance and future proof supply chain transparency.

"Without a doubt the emergence of Blockchain and its applications is very exciting and promises to transform the supply chain and how all trading partners collaborate globally. Due to the ongoing quest for supply chain visibility the supply chain is an ideal industry for Blockchain due to the need for true transparency and immutable proof of ownership of the products at each stage of distribution" states John Connors Director European Supply Chain Institute-Blockchain the Supply Chain.

We are delighted to announce NdT and their Business Analyst Enrico Camerinelli as a partner to the project.

I am very delighted to be part of this impressive group of industry experts. NdT is the meeting point between companies that want to "stick their nose" and practically test things before believing. These are companies that do not want to rely on heard or pre-packaged solutions, but they want to try out first. Supply chain practitioners need guidance and proper information about the impact that innovative technologies will bring to their daily operations.

ESCI is definitely the place you want to be.

About NdT

Companies facing innovative solutions want to experience them before engaging in any way. Especially if they are driven by curiosity rather than by real necessity. The fact remains, however, that solution providers may allow access to experimentation, but only in face of a clear (and in some cases, understandable) commercial opportunity. How can the company, however, possibly engage in something hardly known and of which the benefits are still unknown?

Community NdT solves this apparent stalemate: A community of companies willing to participate in pilot projects using the technologies made available - free of charge - by the Community Partner.
