Call for Vendors and Performers to Participate in New Winter Festival at the Brooklyn Museum

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Sept. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- Seasonal Activation Group and Masai Marketing today announced a call for vendors and cultural groups interested in participating in a new Winter Festival and Holiday Market featuring a dazzling array of activities, festive holiday shopping from local and international vendors, and rich cultural and educational programming for visitors of all ages. "Winterfest at Brooklyn Museum" will transform a 40,000-square-foot area located between the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanic Garden into a winter wonderland, and run from the day after Thanksgiving through December 31. Planned attractions include a snow slider, Santa house and grotto, maze of lights, wine and beer experience, and  more. The full program of attractions and activities is slated to be announced October 2, but bookings for office holiday parties are already being taken.

"As a Brooklyn artisan, I am very excited to participate in Winterfest and believe it will be an amazing platform to reach customers from all five boroughs during the busiest season of the year."

Winterfest is anticipated to draw 300,000 visitors in its first year, generating an overall estimated economic impact to the community of $15 million. Entrance will be free and open to the public, with select paid attractions. The festival's holiday market of up to 50 vendors will support local entrepreneurs through its priority inclusion of small businesses and artisans from surrounding communities. Winterfest will also provide a performance stage for cultural programming free-of-charge to local arts groups.
