Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, Now on Switch
Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition goes live on Switch. Take the adventuring prince and his friends on a trip around the continent as you go. It's the perfect game for those who can't sink hours on a game, or are just playing for the story.

Differences from the Original
The first and most obvious difference is the graphics. The original has rather photorealistic graphics, but the Pocket Edition goes for a simple chibified style. In gameplay, of course, the battle, movement, and interaction methods will also be different. Since it's made to be playable on smartphones, many of the actions take effect through tapping/clicking. The main plot remains unchanged, but many of the sidequests are either cut, modified, or altogether unique to this version.
If these changes (especially the graphics) are not for you, get the original version on PC or PS4 instead. You'll lose the portability, but you'll get better graphics and more action-packed gameplay. At any rate, it really depends on your own personal preference in the end.
Take Final Fantasy XV Wherever You Go
Now, you can take your adventures through Eos with you! The Switch is likely to have a bigger screen and more resources dedicated to playing games. That means a better pocket experience, at the cost of something bulkier to bring along. That's not a bad trade, though, when you think about it.
