Poul Oddershede is responsible for the international expansion of GIVT

WARSAW, Poland - Sept. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- Poul Oddershede, an economist and expert in the fintech industry with nearly 25 years of international experience, joined the management of the GIVT technology platform, helping airline passengers obtain compensation for disrupted flights. Earlier, Oddershede worked among others for the Norwegian financial tycoon DNB ASA and Danish fintech Cardlay. He is currently also an investor and CFO in Artland and Copyright Agent which are data driving companies with international focus. In the past, as CFO, he was responsible for the development of AirHelp, a company from the airline compensations market.

The new GIVT Advisor to the Board has previously lived and worked in the US, Denmark and Norway.

The market on which it operates is about 15 million passengers per year struggling with delayed or cancelled flights. Industry sources estimate that the sum of compensation for such a group is about EUR 5 billion per year.
