Southern Oregon Sun Breeze Inc. Gives Back in Walk to End Alzheimer's

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. - Sept. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- According to the Alzheimer's Association, there are more than 5 million Americans dealing with the disease. The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease. One local company, Sun Breeze Inc., an Oregon state licensed, seed to sale medicinal herb company, is participating in Southern Oregon's 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer's for the third year in a row.

The Sun Breeze Inc. and its family of companies Sunna Ra Acres, Sun God Medicinals, Breeze Botanicals have been raising funds at the register, as well as encouraging customers, patients and community members to donate directly. Sun Breeze Inc. has raised $2,000 this year and over the past three years a total of $5,500 for the organization.

Sun Breeze Inc. chose the Alzheimer's campaign because it has important and relevant meaning for its daily work. "We meet patients and family members daily who are affected by AD and other neurodegenerative conditions," explains Brie Malarkey, founder and CEO of Sun Breeze Inc.

"Many of us personally know someone who lives with, or is affected by, Alzheimer's, and we want to show them we care by participating in the Alzheimer's Association's efforts to raise funds for research, care, and support of those with AD." To show support, the public is encouraged to join the team on Saturday. Just show up with a smile and if you donate $25 you'll receive a free Sun Breeze team t-shirt. The public may donate through social media @sungodmeds and @followthebreeze leading up to the walk on Saturday or online via on the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®.

"We're hoping the regions herbal community will show support for the role herbs have in healing and support a great organization," said Malarkey.
