SpotOn.pet Launches at the upcoming Mets Bark at the Park!

FLUSHING, N.Y. - Sept. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- SpotOn.pet announces their official launch event at Citi Field's 'Bark at the Park' being held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the 7:10pm game.  SpotOn.pet is a brand new app and web-based on-call state-of-the-art ride-hailing service, dedicated to pets and their parents.  SpotOn.pet will be available to usher dogs and their parents to and from the stadium for this game.  Pet parents that need to be picked up with their dog from the nearby Long Island Railroad station can order a SpotOn car from their website to arrive with their dog at Citi Field just in time for the game.

For the game, pet parents looking to use this service must book the car service 1 hour prior to their desired pick up time from the SpotOn.pet website.

The pet-friendly ride-hailing service just debuted in Manhattan, earlier this month, offering pet parents a safe form transportation where they can travel with their pet.

Bark at the Park is a dog-friendly baseball game hosted by the Mets at Citi Field in Queens, N.Y., in which pet parents can bring their dogs with them to this special game!  Pet parents can sit together with fellow dog lovers in designated Coca-Cola Corner seats. A portion of the dog ticket and of the human ticket will benefit North Shore Animal League America.  Dogs will only be allowed in the Coca-Cola Corner at Citi Field.  SpotOn.pet and Citi Field have teamed up to offer this brand new service to make it easier for pet parents attending the game.

SpotOn.pet is also donating $10,000 to the benefitting animal rescue, North Shore Animal League America, on the evening of the game.

This new pet-friendly car service caters to pet parents who are otherwise regularly turned down by standard NYC taxis or other car services.  Perfect for pet parents who can't fit their 60lb dog into a bag, to ride the NYC subway.  It is not easy to get around this metropolis with pets; SpotOn is the perfect solution for city dwellers to get to the Upper East Side from SoHo with their pets.

SpotOn service is currently only available in the five boroughs of Manhattan.  Pet parents can simply visit the SpotOn.pet website and schedule a pick up one hour ahead of time that they need to be picked up. The app is going live in approximately three weeks, estimated for October on both the on the Apple store and Google Play.

SpotOn was created Aparna Srinivasan, who is the founder and CEO of the company. A dog mom, and a seasoned pet industry entrepreneur for the past 15 years, Aparna found it very difficult to get a ride with her two big dogs Krishna and Raja, (who has since passed).  "It should not be that difficult to offer a pet-friendly car service, that pet parents can order with the tap of an app and their ride would be there in minutes," Aparna thought and the idea was born.

After testing this new pet-friendly transportation concept and business model in Los Angeles in early 2017, Aparna knew she had to launch in New York City knowing how many Manhattan pet parents don't have their own transportation. SpotOn goes way beyond your typical car service being specifically geared towards pet safety, comfort, convenience and affordability for pet parents.

Every pet that comes into one of the SpotOn.pet cars have the option to be put into a safety harness, or pet carrier by that is crash tested.  "Safety and comfort for our riders and their pets is the utmost of importance for us, I would want these features and services when I am riding with Krishna," said Aparna Srinivasan.

In addition, there will be pet amenities in each car such as: water; antibacterial wipes; lint rollers; backseat covers; and treats for dogs and cats.  Each car will be wiped down with antibacterial wipes in-between rides.

SpotOn.pet will take any size dog, cats and small pets and their drivers are capable of taking pet parents and their companion anywhere in the city.  In addition, SpotOn has drivers that are pet first-aid and CPR certified that can transport your pet to appointments when you are too busy to go with them.
