1. Fix Network Address:

The users may fix the network address by following the steps listed below:

• The users need to click on Start option and then go to the run option.
• Then the user needs to type on the "Network and Sharing" option in order to open the Network and Sharing Center.
• Next, the user needs to click on the Change adapter settings option.
• The users may quickly access this section by pressing on the Windows + R button. The user needs to fill out "ncpa.cpl" without using the quotes and then press on the Enter option.
• In the next step, the users need to right-click on the network adapter and then select the properties option.
• Thereafter the user needs to click on Internet Protocol Version 4 option. Under this, the user needs to choose and select the properties option.
• The user needs to set the default DNS to be the Google's DNS.
• The user needs to check the box, "Validate settings upon exit". This has to be done before clicking on the OK button.
• In the next step, the user needs to open a Command Prompt by pressing on the Windows + R option and then the user needs to type cmd or cmd.exe and then press Enter.
• Thereafter in the Command Prompt window, the user needs to type ipconfig /all and then press Enter.
• The user may write down the physical address as shown in the image above.
• After this, the user needs to go back to the Network and Sharing Center.
• Finally, the user needs to right-click on the network adapter and then choose Properties.

2. Reset DNS Settings:

This is the second method to solve the  DNS server not responding error in Windows. The users may use this solution when by using the first method, the user is not able to resolve the problem.

• First of all the user needs to open the  Command Prompt program by pressing on the Windows + R on the keyboard.
• Then the user needs to type "cmd.exe" and then press the Enter option.
• Once the user has finished doing the step, then the users may reboot the computer.
