Share Care Global to Host Second Annual Fundraising Gala in Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fla. - Sept. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- An Evening in India is back to make a bigger impact around the globe and close to home. This year's gala – featuring delicious Indian cuisine, live performances and a full bar – takes place on Friday, October 19, 2018, at Michaels On East. Proceeds will help expand existing programs and fund "My Home," Share Care Global's newest, Sarasota-centered endeavor. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at ShareCareGlobal.com.

"The world needs saving, and we can do it together," said Poonam Maini, owner of Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine and founder of Share Care Global. "Your participation in An Evening in India gives Share Care Global the ability to reach women and children and help them live their most authentic lives."

An Evening in India raised more than $62,500 in 2017 for programs and services to feed and empower women, children and families in both India and on the Suncoast. As this year's focus, the "My Home" program will help young local women from troubled homes by providing a safe, stable and encouraging place to live and realize their fullest potential.

A core aspect of Share Care Global is that 10 percent of all gross sales at Tandoor are donated to the organization. In addition to ongoing funding from Tandoor, local businesses and professionals are invited to pitch in to make An Evening in India a success.
