Newberry Harvest Festival featuring 6 SC Wineries & 2 Live Bands

Joining host Enoree River Winery–located 30 minutes northwest of Columbia– are new, guest wineries, Abiding Vines, Wandering Bard Meadery and Lazy Bear Winery, along with returning wineries, Proverbs 31 and Old Rock Quarry. Musical favorites, The Time Pirates and Bluegrass Remedy featuring Henry Brooks will provide live entertainment starting at noon.
In addition to the seasonal debut of Cranberry Wine, guests will be able to indulge in Cranberry Wine Slushies for $6 each. Wine slushies were introduced by Enoree River Winery in late spring of this year and have quickly become a favorite among guests.
While sipping on refreshing wines, guests can relax on blankets and chairs on the vineyard grounds or overlook the grapevines from the wraparound, tasting room porch. Columbia food truck, Carolina Cookin', will be on-site selling delicious food throughout the afternoon. Local arts and crafts vendors will showcase fine arts and handcrafted items which guests may browse and purchase.
Early Bird, Event Admission can be purchased online for $25 per adult, now through September 30th, and will include entry into the event, a tasting of 10 handcrafted wines and a souvenir wine glass. Pre-Orders for Cranberry Wine by the bottle will also be sold online at a discount of $3 off per bottle, regularly $18.
Discounted, Early Bird Admission sales are limited to the first 300 purchased and are now available online. Early bird adult tickets are $25 each (including the $5 discount) through September 30. Starting October 1, adult admission will be $30 per ticket. This is a family-friendly event with more ticket options online; guests under 21 are $10 each, and kids under 5 get in free. Parking is free, but limited. Carpooling is recommended. Outside coolers, personal cups, alcohol, beverages and food are strictly prohibited. No dogs are allowed at this event. For guests who cannot make it to the Newberry Harvest Festival, Enoree River Winery will kick off the wine celebration with a Fall Pack the Porch Wine & Music Series on Sundays, October 7th, 21st, 28th and November 4th. Visit their website for more details.
Nestled in the heart of Newberry County, Enoree River Winery is a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery. The 8 acre vineyard was originally planted in 2006 by owners, Richard and Laura LaBarre and other family members. The winery offers guests muscadine, fruit and Vinifera wines for tastings and purchase. The winery's first harvest of Black Spanish Grapes will bring two new wines this year. The vineyard and tasting room also host weddings, private parties and more special occasions.
