CHICAGO - Sept. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel proclaims the weekend of October 5 - 7, 2018 to be Financial Literacy Days. The Proclamation informs the public of several events and activities for the city's business community. There will be four events on the schedule, two events on October 5 and another two on October 6.

On October 5, Chicago business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs can tune into 'WVON 1690A' Financial Fridays with host Perri Small.  Dr. White will be their in-studio guest for the day.  They go live at 11 am CST.  Perri Small is a veteran journalist and a host of her own midday WVON show.

The 11 am an event is an excellent opportunity for the city's aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs to learn the challenges they can expect to face in their endeavors.  During this event, plenty of topics will be discussed concerning the difficulties that many of Chicago's small business owners face such getting an investor and expanding the business.

Later on that day, an event at 'Microsoft Stores' is set to commence at 4 pm to 6 pm.  Dr. White will speak on behalf of Microsoft.  She's set to discuss small business tax planning insights and advice on how to better deal with business taxes. For more info visit www.cozettemwhite.com/ec18.

The educational events continue on Saturday, October 6, another two events are scheduled according to Mayor Rahm's Proclamation.  In the morning, the 'Family Expo Day' is set to kick off at 10 am CST at Malcolm X College.  Dr. Cozette will be presenting and speaking about Building Generational Wealth, giving insight to families that creating a family legacy is a team effort.

During this event, much will be discussed on how parents can help their children build wealth. The event will tackle how the goal of building generational wealth is not the accumulation of assets. Instead, it is supporting the next generation not to be stuck in a lifestyle of paycheck to paycheck. It will tackle building a generational wealth plant that will not cause kids and grandkids to become trust fund spoiled brats. For full details, http://wvon.com/family-care-expo/.

The last event will be 'The Ladies That Lead Tour."  On behalf of Cameka Smith, Founder, and CEO of the Boss Network, Dr. White is set to be on the Entrepreneurial panel.  She'll be discussing the dynamic challenges of succeeding as an entrepreneur and providing insights on the growing success of women in the business community. Today, numerous women have taken up the mantle and are leading in various sectors in the industry.  More full details on this event visit www.ladiesthatleadtour.com.
