DeDe McGuire and Her Mother The DeDe McGuire Foundation is a charitable organization inspiring women and inspiring change by providing help to single mothers attempting to seek further education. "We educate the mom, the backbone of our community is that woman. And when she is educated, her children become educated, and when she makes more money, she supports her community more. You can change your community by changing her." McGuire said at her foundation launch. The who's who of Dallas all came out to support DeDe with her launch including CURLS owner Mahisha Dellinger, television personality Brandi Maxiell, Jessica Shepherd, Laila Muhammad, and more. Her K104 family was also in the house to support! The DeDe McGuire Foundation is the next venture for the radio personality who is now nationally syndicated with her morning show. As she continues to grow her brand and build her career, she finds it important to help those around her as well.
