The Heritage School Kolkata organized the Grand Swimming Gala for the Senior School students. The programme was participated by the students of Classes VI to XII in 26 individual aquatic competition.

KOLKATA, India - Sept. 15, 2018 - PRLog -- Recently the Heritage School Kolkata organized the Grand Swimming Gala for the Senior School students.  The programme was participated by the students of Classes VI to XII in 26 individual aquatic competitions in freestyle and break stroke and 5 free style relay competitions. Altogether there were 156 participants from various school houses: Aryabhatt, Chanakya, Patanjali and Dronacharya. The great event was inaugurated by Mr. Alvito D Cunha,   former member of the Indian Football Team and represented India in the 2002 world cup qualifiers.

The programme also witnessed a fabulous water ballet performed by 16 students which was appreciated by the teachers a lot. The overall winner was from the Aryabhatt House, Second position was grabbed by Dronacharya House, the Third one went to Chanakya House and the fourth one was received by Patanjali House.
The Heritage School is a unique endeavour of the Kalyan Bharti Trust to recreate the ancient Gurukul tradition of India. Nestled in the lap of nature, the school provides an ideal atmosphere for learners to acquire and imbibe skills necessary for their physical, mental, social and intellectual development.
