The Valuation and Advisory Services Division of SVN|KOVA provides a host of appraisal services, complementing the full range of commercial real estate offerings to the clients of SVN|KOVA. Services include real estate property appraisals, feasibility studies, market studies, investment analyses, tax appeals, probate appraisals, bank appraisals and litigation including expert testimony.

SVN|KOVA's Valuation and Advisory Services Division is led by managing director Martinn E. Winters, MAI. Anthony Emma, Jr., CEO and managing member of KOVA Companies, announced the hire of Winters in July, and his role has been instrumental to the launch of SVN|KOVA's newest division. Winters holds an MBA in International Business from George Washington University and brings more than 30 years of expertise in investment advisory, commercial real estate valuations, property management, management consulting and commercial litigation testimony. Winters began his real estate career in 1987 after serving as a regulator for the Federal Reserve. In 2002, Winters advanced his career as he added appraisals to his list of services and achieved his MAI designation in 2012.
