ATLANTA - Sept. 12, 2018 - PRLog -- The Eta Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is excited to announce that famed Civil Rights Attorney and newly elected Omega Psi Phi Grand Counselor, Brother Benjamin Crump, will deliver the keynote address at the organization's annual Achievement Week Banquet. The event will take place on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway. Doors open at 5p.m.  The celebration honors the contributions of distinguished community members from across Metro-Atlanta and the selfless service of brothers from within the Fraternity. Proceeds will also benefit the organization's scholarship programs.

Brother Crump, one of the top trial lawyers in the country, has fought for justice in some of America's most controversial and high profile cases involving young Black men who were shot to death. The list includes Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Tamir Rice, and Botham Jean, the Dallas, Texas man killed in his own apartment by an off-duty police officer who said she thought he was a burglar. Crump is the Founder and Principal of the Benjamin Crump Law Firm, a national practice based in Tallahassee, Florida with offices in Atlanta and six other cities. Crump is also the force behind TV One's legal series, Evidence of Innocence, and is featured in the Paramount Network documentary series, Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, Executive Produced by Jay-Z.

Tickets for the banquet are available now at www.hq1919.com/banquet. For additional ticket information, contact Brother Maurice Watson at mbw30032@yahoo.com. Media inquiries can be sent to kaliah@hentonjonesmedia.com.
