-- In early July, Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa introduced the Beachill mattresses, as part of the TestBED program. These mattresses are eco-friendly, solar powered beach/pool beds that charge electronic devices, keep guests' drinks cool and belongings stored. The resort offers 5 of the mattresses around the Infinity Pool primarily, for testing purposes. The product was developed by the talented 25-year-old, Antoine Sayah, who could not be more pleased seeing guests show enthusiasm towards the mattresses. The resort is honoured to take part in helping this young entrepreneur gain feedback on his product, helping him develop it and grow his career further. First launched by Marriott Hotels across Europe in 2016, the unique TestBED program, gives start-ups the opportunity to test their products within an operating Marriott Hotel in a major city. The programme is open to seed and early stage start-ups with products or services that are ready to pilot in a live hotel environment. It offers them an invaluable opportunity to gain worthwhile feedback from guests and associates to help further develop and perfect their product.
