Mitchell Martin partners with General Assembly to address skills gap and increase diversity
Mitchell Martin Inc. has entered in to a partnership with General Assembly to increase diversity in technology while addressing the skills gaps in today's workforce
The partnership addresses the tech talent shortage and lack of diversity in technology workforce. The goal is to recruit and train non-stem individuals who want to enter the technology workforce with an emphasis on women, minorities, and veterans.
Additionally, Mitchell Martin will now be able to offer their consultants GA training in emerging technologies thus providing their clients new sources of candidates. The partnership will also provide graduates of General Assembly with access to a broader range of employment opportunities through Mitchell Martin's client network.
"Innovation is at the core of what we do, and this partnership is a creative way for us to bring the candidates with the most sought-after technology skills to our clients" said Gene Holtzman, CEO of Mitchell Martin.
"Companies are finding it increasingly difficult to locate and develop talent in emerging fields, including IT. We are excited to take the lead with Mitchell Martin in helping candidates and employers thrive in a rapidly evolving economy, by increasing diversity and providing new avenues to employment while creating a fluid tech talent pipeline," said Catie Brand, Director of Talent Acquisition for General Assembly.
