New "Help A Warrior" Program for Baltimore Area Veterans
Free plumbing and heating services are being made available by Warrior Plumbing and Heating.
The new program is the result of Warrior Plumbing and Heating's owner, Collin Goldsmith's desire to give back to veterans in need.
"Baltimore has so many men and women who served honorably on active duty to protect our country but are not able to get out of poverty." Collin continued, "We love the Baltimore area and really want to help out some deserving veterans."
According to the US Dept of Veterans Affairs, there are over 30K veterans in the Baltimore area and 15.75% of them are living at or below poverty level (worldpopulationreview.com)
How the Help a Warrior program works
People will be able to nominate veterans by using the simple application form on the Warrior Plumbing and Heating website.
Help a Warrior Application Form
People can fill out the form with basic information about a veteran they feel could use our help. We will audit the forms monthly and donate our services to selected submissions.
Depending on the services needed, we will be able to cover multiple small jobs or one larger job. We are also looking at the possibility of working with suppliers so that we could potentially do large projects (like replacing a boiler).
"We are really excited about the Help a Warrior program and can't wait for word about it to spread." Collin continues, "I know that there are a lot of veterans here in the Baltimore area who could use our help, we just need to find out who they are."
