Fox Trail Senior Living Commemorates National Assisted Living Week

FRONT ROYAL, Va. - Sept. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Fox Trail Senior Living Commemorates National Assisted Living Week

MARSHALL, VA – September 10, 2018 – A weeklong celebration kicks off this week, and Fox Trail Senior Living is joining tens of thousands of assisted living communities across the country for the festivities. National Assisted Living Week® continues through Saturday, September 15, and Fox Trail is honoring this year's theme, "Capture the Moment."

"Often, it's the little, everyday moments in assisted living between staff and residents that deepen bonds, enrich lives and improve care," said Nancy Higgs, Senior Vice President of Operations of Fox Trail Senior Living. "Our communities' seniors are unique individuals who still have so much to give, and we are honored to serve them during this pivotal time in their lives."

"Capture the Moment" hopes to inspire assisted living residents to enjoy the present while still celebrating the past. Many adults 65 and older battle isolation and loneliness as they age, which can impact their mental, emotional and physical health. Community engagement may be the key to combatting this issue, and Fox Trail offers life-enriching social activities to help residents continue to lead fulfilling lives.

Such activities will be offered this week at Fox Trail Senior Living and include:

• National Assisted Living Week Proclamation Read by Mayor of Front Royal, Monday, September 10^th, 10:00am – Hollis L. Tharpe, Mayor of Front Royal, Virginia, will be proclaiming this week as Assisted Living Week.
• Manassas Open House, Thursday, September 13^th,  3:00-5:00pm – Visit our newly renovated Manassas, VA community to learn more about Assisted Living Week and offerings at Fox Trail.
• Front Royal Open House, Saturday, September 15^th,  9:00am-12:00pm – Visit our newly renovated Front Royal, VA community to learn more about Assisted Living Week and offerings at Fox Trail.
