Dondi Dix is also currently serving as Human Resources Vice President of Talent and Organization Development for Dairy Farmers of America. Dondi's passion for military service began in high school, serving as the JROTC Cadet Battalion Commander at Leavenworth High School, in Leavenworth, Ks in 1992-1993. After high school, she received an ROTC scholarship and attended Kansas University ROTC, serving as the Jayhawk Battalion ROTC Cadet Commander and Drill Team commander in 1996-1997. She received the Cadet Legion of Valor Award and also founded the local chapter of the Scabbard and Blade Society while at KU. After graduation, Dondi was commissioned into the U.S. Army Reserve Adjutant General Corps, and served in several Reserve Units over the next 7 years. Dondi's civilian jobs have always included a component of service to veterans. She has been an active member of the Veteran Employee Resource Groups offered through her civilian employees, as well as using her knowledge of talent to mentor veterans transitioning to civilian jobs, provide resume translation, and education to civilian employers on how to translate military experience to common corporate skills. She has partnered with America's Corporate Partners and other non-profit organizations to further these goals. She hopes to further support veterans in various capacities in her expanded role on the Solders' Angels Advisory council.
