JAIPUR, India - Sept. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Janmashtami was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the children of the Pre-Primary wing at St. Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar
Children came dressed in, as Krishna and Radha and other colourful outfits. Students were told about Krishna's life and his thoughts, which form a part of the holy book 'Bhagwad Gita'. They made and wore Peacock feather head-gears and decorated matkas and flutes. The Pre-primary was decorated colourfully with Jhankis depicting the birthplace of Lord Krishna and Krishna Jhoola. A special assembly was conducted to mark the birth of the deity. Children celebrated the occasion by singing and dancing with great joy. The involvement of the children in the celebrations at such a tender age was worth applauding. Later they enjoyed some fresh butter and Kheer.
